What is a Giveback?

You can contribute to the Mill Creek PTA with no added cost to you!

​A Giveback is where you make a purchase at a local business on a specific day like you normally would, let them know you're connected with Mill Creek PTA, and they give a percentage back to us. We will have many scheduled throughout the year, so check back here frequently for info on our upcoming Givebacks. They will also be posted on our Google calendar and shared on our social media pages.

​In addition to our Givebacks at local businesses throughout the year, a percentage of your purchases from Kroger and Publix can be gifted to us with some simple steps on your part. In addition, after you shop, your receipt can be scanned into the Box Tops app for even more to come back to Mill Creek PTA. It's that simple! Check out the easy steps below to get it set up.

Kroger

Are you a Kroger shopper? Good news! Once you follow the simple steps below, all you have to do is shop at Kroger and swipe your Shopper’s Card, and a portion of your purchase will be donated to Mill Creek PTA. It's an easy way to help our school while you do your grocery shopping.

IMPORTANT: This program requires re-enrollment every year, so just because you signed up in the past, you may not currently be enrolled. You can help us by checking your status and/or enrolling using these steps:
  • Sign in or create an account on kroger.com. If you already have a digital account, simply link your Shopper’s Card to your account.
  • Click "My Account" then "Community Rewards".
  • Search for Mill Creek Elementary PTA or enter code VE178 in the search box.
  • Select Mill Creek Elementary PTA, and click "save".

Any transactions moving forward using the Shopper’s Card number associated with your digital account will earn money for Mill Creek at no added cost to you.

Publix

Do you shop at Publix? If so, there is an easy way you can help earn money for Mill Creek. Follow these steps to make sure you are signed up. It only takes a minute or two!
  • Join Club Publix if you're not already a member.
  • Log in to your Club Publix account. Select "My Publix Partner" in your profile to choose your school. Important - Make sure you select Mill Creek Elementary School in Madison, AL (NOT Mill Creek Elementary PTO--that's not us).
  • Pay with the Publix app or enter your phone number at checkout, and Publix will donate a portion of your eligible purchase to Mill Creek.

It's that simple! Anyone can participate no matter where they live, so make sure to share with grandparents, relatives, and friends. You can help us by verifying that your Club Publix account is linked to Mill Creek as well as by sharing this information with others.

  • Download the Box Tops app from the app store on your phone.
  • ​Designate Mill Creek Elementary School as your recipient.
  • Upload your receipt after shopping if items with the Box Tops logo were purchased.  ​That's it--no more clipping Box Tops from packages and mailing them in!
